Common Name The Sulcate Bulbophyllum [refers to the pseudobulbs]

Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Java, Lesser Sunda Islands and Sumatra at elevations around 750 to 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with long-ovoid, furrowed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly oblong, shortly acute to obtuse, graually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, thin, 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence with narrow floral bracts and carrying the flowers held at the apex and facing in all directions.
