Common Name The Green Flowered Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .4 to .75" [1 to 1.7 cm]

Found in the western Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Bhutan and the eastern Himalayas at elevations of 2000 to 2300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with caespitose, ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong-lanceolate, acute, thin, narrowing into the subsessile base leaves that blooms in the fall on a basal, erect, racemose, to 7.2" [18 cm] long, densely many flowered, strongly decurved rachis inflorescence with 3 distant, lanceolate, acute bracts and ovate-lanceolate, acute to acuminate floral bracts.
