Found in Guyana, Fr Guiana, Suriname and Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .6" [1.5 cm] between each, terete, narrowly cylindrical pseudodbulb carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, linear-oblong to oblanceolate, acute to bidenticulate, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaf that blooms on a basal, erect, 3.2 to 5.2" [3 to 13 cm] long, laxly to 20 flowered inflorescence with truncate, scarious bracts on the peduncle and lanceolate-ovate, apiculate, concave floral bracts.
" B quadrisetum and B steyermarkii have glabrous lip apices vs a lip apexxwith some small hairs or papillae. B quadristum has distincltly smaller flowers than B steyermarkii
