Common Name The Long-Iram Dendrobium [The Type locality of the orchid]

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Kalimantan Borneo in lowland and swamp forests at elevations of sealevel to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a simple, erect stem enveloped completely by imbricate leaf bearing sheaths and carrying obliquely oblong-elliptic, acute, laterally flattened, fleshy leaves that blooms on a subterminal, short, single flowered inflorescence.

D longiramense is allied to D barioense but is distinguished by the larger flowersand distally 3 lobed lip with a bilobulate mid lobe. The lip is similar in shape to D sambasanum
