Common Name The Long Bracted Elleanthus

Found in Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Windward Islands, Guyana, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia in wet forests at elevations of 900 to 1100 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, several flowered inflorescence with yellow, narrowly triangular, acute bracts and floral bracts
