Common Name Lucke's Epidendrum [German Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in the department of Choco Colombia in rainforests at elevations around 50 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with pendent, glabrous, filiform, elongate, branched stems arising from near the base of the previous stem, carrying distichous, fleshy, coriaceous, sulcate midnerve, carinate dorsally, rounded and bilobed apically, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on a terminal, .24" [6 mm] long, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
