Common Name The Parque de Los Nevados Epidendrum [A mountain group national park in the central Cordillera west of Bogota]

Found in Risalralda department of Colombia at elevations around 3670 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with branching, cane-like, erect, elongate, main stem branching with secondary and tertiary branching stems carrying 3 to 6 on the branches, [main stem leaves not seen] short, lanceolate, acute, retuse, margin minutely and scarsely erose towards the apex leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a terminal, without a spathe, short, arching, racemose simultaneously 7 to 15 flowered inflorescence with shorter than the ovary, triangular, acuminate floral bracts and carrying resupinate, pink flowers.
