Found in western Panama in wet montane forests without locational data as a small to medium sized caespitose orchid with simple, canelike, terete stems that keiki often and carrying to 12 or more, all along the apical half of the stem, lanceoalte, acute, apical margin erose-dentate leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, short, racemose, erect, simultaneously 6 flowered inflorescence with much shorter than the ovary, acute, triangular floral bracts.
