Common Name The Single Horned Flickingeria
Flower Size .32" [8 mm] long
Found in the Philippines on Laguna and Leyte at elevations around 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with branching stems giving rise to cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong-elliptic, slightly coriaceous, rigid when dry, marinatum, apically bidentate, shortly petioalte base leaf tha blooms in the late spring on a very short, arising on the back of the leaf, single flowered inflorescence carrying white flowers
Similar to F parietiformis but D unicorne is distinguished by the more deeply bilobed apex of the lip, the obscure laterallobes and by the horn-like projections on the callus that stand in front of the opening to the sac.
