Found in DF, Goias, Espiritu Santo, Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo states of Brazil at elevations around 2000 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with an erect, thin stem carrying 3, linear-lanceolate, acuminate, plicate leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, 1.6 t o3.2" [4 to 8 cm] long, laxly several flowered inflorescence with long-lanceolate, as long as the ovary flora lbracts.
