Found in DF, Goias and Minas Gerais states of Brazil in grasslands as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect, thin stem enveloped by by straight, narrow, acute, strongly amplexicaule, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect, terminal, 1.6 to 2.4" [4 to 6 cm] long, 4 to 7, very small flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts
