Found in Ecuador? without collection data as a mini-miniature to miniature sized epiphyte with stout, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3, loose tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect to suberect, thickly coriaceous, elliptical-oblong, obtuse to rounded, cuneate below into the stout, channeled petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a slender, erect to suberect, 1.2 to 1.4" [3 to 3.5 cm] long peduncle, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, with a tubular floral bract, holding the single flower at mid-leaf height.
