Found in Ecuador without locality data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with blackish, erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a slender, suberect, .6 to .76" [1.5 to 1.8 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract at the base.
