Found in the Bolivia as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte at elevations around 2500 to 2600 meters with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 thin, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrolwy elliptic-obovate, subacute to obtuse leaf that is narrowly cuneate into the long petiole below and blooms in the spring on an erect to suberect, 3/4" [2 cm] long inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul with a bract near the base and thin, tubular floral bract all carrying a single flower.
