Common Name Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Amazonas department of Peru at elevations around 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender, blackish ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, close, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the slender, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a slender, erect, [3.5 to 4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, with a bract above the base and a tubular floral bract.
