Found in southern Peru without locality as a small sized epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, acute, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a erect, slender, 2.4 to 2.6" [6 to 6.5 cm] cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, with a bract near the base and a tubular floral bract.
