Common Name Tokach's Masdevallia [American Cultivator of species]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Chiriqui province of Panama at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 loose tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute, marrowly cuneate below into the indistinct petiolate base leaf that blooms spring and fall on an erect to suberect, slenser, [6 to 9 cm] long, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence arising from near the base of the ramicaul with a thin bract above the base and has a tubular floral bract.
