Common Name Albert's Odontoglossum [Sr Albert Diaz Colombian discoverer of species current]

Flower Size 1.8 to 2" [4.5 to 5 cm]

Found in Boyaca department of Colombia at elevations of 3000 to 3200 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with a ovoid, flattened pseudobulbs psrtially enveloped basally by 2 foliar sheaths and carrying 2 apical, oblong-elliptic, leaves that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, axillary, to 12" [30 cm] long, racemose, laxly few flowered inflorescence.
