Common Name The Constricted Odontoglossum

Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]

This medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphytic species is found in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 1800 to 2300 meters with ovoid, ancipitous, light green pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, linear-lanceolate, subacute or acute leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on a basal, erect to arcuate, 5' [150 cm] long at largest, racemose or paniculate inflorescence arising from a mature pseudobulbs leaf bearing sheaths that has ovate-triangular, acute bracts and has fragrant flowers.
