Common Name The Flattened Horizontally Pleurothallis [refers to the column that is flat with the lip]

Found in Morona-Santiago Ecuador at elevations of 800 to 1800 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls with a close, tubular sheath on the lower fourth and 2 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, coradte below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on a [1 to 2 mm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe and carrying the flat flower flat against the leaf.
