Found in Cundinamarca department of Colombia at elevations around 2300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with an erect 4" [10 cm] long ramicaul carrying single, suberect to spreading, coriaceous, 4" [10 cm] long, oblong, acuminate, cordate base leaf.
This is a lost species with no drawings available and the holotype was lost in Berlin during WWII.
