Found in Espirito Santo Brazil at elevations of 200 to 600 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical ramicauls carrying a single, lanceolate, tridenticulate apically, conduplicate below into the pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall through winter on 1 to 4, erect to horizontal, short, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising from the base of the leaf with a short, amplexicaule floral bract
