Found in Espirito Santo and Rio de Janiero states of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect, cylindrical ramicauls with a single sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, fleshy, oblong-lanceolate, purple suffused beneath, subacute, longly petiolate base leaf that blooms on 1 to 3, shorter than the leaf, successively single, to 6 flowered inflorescence
