Common Name The Heart-Shaped Leaf Pleurothallis

Flower Size 1 1/14" [3 cm]

Found in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations of 850 to 3200 meters small sized, cool to cold growing, caespitose epiphyte and is as a with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 close tubular sheaths and another longer one below the middle and has, spreading to horizontal to acutely deflexed, fleshy coriaceous, acuminate, narrowly cordate, apical lobes concave and crossed, light green leaves with a long, terete petiole that blooms at most any time of the year as a solitary flowered, successive bloomer on a short, apical inflorescence with a shorter than the pedicel floral bract and carrying the flower close to the leaf base.
