Found in Rio de Janiero State of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 2 to 3, close, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptical, wedge shaped, tridenticulate, gradually narrowing below into the cuneate petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, to arching, longer than the leaf, fractiflex, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
