Common Name The Flame-Like Pleurothallis [refers to the flowers position on the inflorescence]
Flower Size .12" [3 mm]
Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil in humid primary forests as a mini-miniature sized, caespitose epiphyte with almost no ramicaul and a sngle apical, fleshy, obovate-oblong to oblong-spathulate, obtuse to subrounded apically, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the fall on a subfiliform, much shorter than the leaf, peduncle .12 to .16" [3 to 4 mm] long, successively single, 2 flowered inflorescence.
