Found in the Dominican Republic at elevations around 450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a slender, erect ramicaul enveloped by 1 to 2, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a erect, slender, .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long peduncle, congested, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from near the middle of the ramicaul with a thin, imbricating floral bract.
