Found in Huanaco department of Peru in cloud forests at elevations around 640 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, narrowly elliptical-obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long including the .8" [2 cm] long peduncle, successively and distantly single, 4 to 5 flowered inflorescence arising from a node below the abscission layer and has an oblique, acuminate, minutely scabrous floral bract.
