Found in Rio de Janiero, Sao Paulo, Parana and Santa Catarina states of Brazil at elevations around 1100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect to horizontal ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, conduplicate, narrowly lanceolate, attenuate below into the base leaf that blooms in the late spring through mid fall on fractiflex, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, successively 1 to 2, 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence.
