Common Name Haber's Pleurothallis [American Discoverer of species current]

Flower Size .08" [2 mm]

Found in Alajuela Costa Rica at elevations around 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short, erect ramicaul enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a fascile of slender, .4 to .48" [1 to 1.2 cm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with a tubular floral bract.

CAUTION!!! The photo above does not seem t omatch Luer's type drawing very well especially in the apices of the petals and the wide open Dorsal and synsepal. The lip is very close though so the flower may have been forced open to see that.
