Common Name Hoeijeri's Pleurothallis [Swedish Collector of Species current ]

Found in eastern Venezuela at elevations around 100 to 500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with reclining to ascending, stout ramicauls with a tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, more or less suberect, overlapping, thickly coriaceous, broadly elliptical, obtuse, acuminate, broadly cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on a congested, to .36" [9 mm] long including the .08" [2mm] long peduncle, successively 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence arising from a node below the apex of the ramicaul.
