Found in Bahia state of Brazil in submontane deciduous seasonal fores at elevations around 617 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, repent epiphyte with .36 to .6" [9 to 15 mm] between each short ramicaul concealed by 1, white to pale yellow, membraneous, close-?tting, acuminate, striate, entire sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous to ?eshy, elliptic to lanceolate, pale green on the adaxial face, purplish on the abaxial face, glabrous, tridenticulate to acute apically, entire, attenuate to rounded at base leaf that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, peduncle .84 to 1.24" [2.1 to 3.1 mm] long, ?liform, bearing 1 to 2 close-?tting, membranous, acute, entire sheaths, loose, rachis .32 to .92" [8 to 23 mm] long, ?liform, successively single, to 4 flowered inflorescence with amplexical, membranous, acuminate, entire, shorter than the pedicel ?oral bracts and carrying rather small flowers that do not open well.
