Common Name Janet's Pleurothallis [Mrs Kuhn American Original Collector of species 1900's]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Costa Rica at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrows below into the elongate petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect to lateral, 2.4" [6 cm] long, succesively single flowered inflorescence arising from above the base .
