Common Name or Meaning The Lita Pleurothallis [A town in northwestern Ecuador]

Found in Esmeraldas Ecuador in wet forests at elevations around 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls with a tubular sheath below the middle and another at the base and carrying a single, apical, ovate, acute, round below into the base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect [2 to 3 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising and concealed within a spathe and has tubular floral bracts.

CAUTION!! The type drrawing is absolutely correct, the photo on the other hand appears correct to the flower but Luer's description says that it is a single flowered inflorescence and the photo shows a successively flowering inflorescence SO PLEASE USE WITH CAUTION!!!
