Common Name or Meaning The Very Small Pleurothallis [refers to the size of the plant]

Flower Size .12" [3 mm]

Found in Fr Guyana, Guyana and Venezuela at low elevations up to 300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, erect, rigid, coriaceous, broadly ellipitcal, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, filiform, congested, secund, .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] long including the .24 to .28 " [6 to 7 mm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.

Very similar to P barbulata and differs in its very small habit, and the short, crowded raceme instead of a densely flowered raceme of fasciculated pedicels
