Found in Tachira Venezuela at elevations around 300 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, ascending to suberect, anciptous above ramicauls enveloped by tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, more or less spreading, coriaceous, ellipitcal-ovate, subacute , cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on 1 to 3, erect, lax, 8 to 1" [2 to .5 cm] long including the .4 to .8" [1 to 2 cm] long peduncle, successively single to 3 flowered inflorescence arising from the base of the leaf.
