Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Ecuador in wet montane forests at elevations around 2700 to 2800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, gradually narrowly cuneate intot he petiolate base leaf that blooms late spring and early summer on an erect, loose, filiform, to 4" [10 cm] long, successively several flowered inflorescence arising laterally from the ramicaul.

CAUTION Use caution with the Ecuagenera photo determination, the TYPE drawing by Luer is absolutely correct. Lip is wrong, more similar to P setigera version of P zephyrina but I am not sure, anyone?
