Common Name The Broad Sepal Pleurothallis [refers to the dorsal sepal]

Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Cauca Colombia in wet montane forests at elevations of 2000 to 2600 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing epiphytye with an erect, slender ramicaul with a close tubular sheath on the lower third and 2 others at the base and carrying, a single, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptic-obovate, subacute, slightly acuminate, narrowly cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the fall on a fascile of successive, single flowered inflorescence arising through a narrow spathe and has tubular floral bracts.

CAUTION Neither of the photos are for sure and I have no way of verifying the drawing either. The First photo is just not detailed enough to be sure of what it may be. I am fairly sure that the second photo is not correctly identified because of the reflexed synsepal other than that they are fairly similar, I hope to have it worked out to it's correct determination soon.
