Found in Venezuela at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ascending ramicauls enveloped by a thin, tubular sheath and carrying a single, apical, suberect, coriaceous, broadly elliptical, often overlapping, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a loose, slender, .12 to .36" [3 to 9 mm] long, successively 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
