Found in La Paz Bolivia at elevations around 2450 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls with a tubular sheath near the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, grey green, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, rounded and narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a subcongested, distichous, 4 to 5.6" [10 to 14 cm] long including the 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously several flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe from an annulus below the apex of the ramicaul.
