Found in La Paz Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations around 2550 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, descending ramicauls with a tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, pendent, thickly coriaceous, narrowly linear-elliptical, slightly curving upward, acute, narrowly cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the early summer on 2 to 3, successive, pendent, subcongested, subflexuous, 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm] long including the .4" [1 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously few flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe at the apex of the ramicaul.
