Found in the Andaman Islands and Nicobar Island as a large sized, hot growing epiphyte with a succulent stem with glossy leaves carrying large, fragrant .
" Often relegated to the synonymy of V. albida to which is closely related. However, it has a larger penicillate callus in which the scales are so divided, that they look more like hairs than scales.
