Common Name The Corydalis-Like Dendrobium [refers to the flowers similarity to the genus Corydalis]

Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm] log,

Found in Sarawak and Kalimantan Borneo in lowland and Kerangis forests at elevations of sea level to 300 meters as a small to large sized, hot growing epiphyte with spreading to pendent, clustered, leafy, branching at the base, narrowest at the base stems carrying narrowly elliptic to oblong elliptic, shortly obliquely, acute to acuminate, sheaths finely brown speckled in youth, cuneate at the base leaves that blooms on the distal portion of the older leafless or young leafy stem, pendent, peduncle .32 to .44" [.8 to 1.1 cm] long, arising through several, imbricate, ovate sheaths, rachis .32 to .48" [.8 to 1.2 cm] long, 12 to 14 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, acute to acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts

This species forms a group within SECTION Calcarifera typified by having relatively small tepals and a long, narrow, spur-like mentumand include D hymenophyllum, D muluense, D panduriferum and D tropaeoliflorum. From D hymenophyllum D corydaliflorum differs in the denser inflorescence, the much narrower lip blade and an obtuse rather than truncate dorsal sepal.
