Found in Morona-Santiago province of Ecuador without collection data as a small sized, caespitose epiphyte with a slender, erect ramicaul with a loose sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 short sheaths at the base and carrying a single, apical, spreading, more or less horizontal, coriaceous, narrowly ovate with revolute sides, acute, deeply cordate into the sessile base leaf and blooms in the winter on a short, arising at the base of the leaf, through a reclining, conduplicate spathe, peduncle and floral bracts concealed within, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
