MID EARLIER

Common Name The Green Blooming Benthamia

Flower Size

Found in Mauritius and Reunion as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial that blooms in the mid winter, spring, summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, loosely many flowered inflorescence.

CAUTION : I am not sure of this determination. I do not have proper references to key this one out. It was sent in as Benthamia latifolia from Mauritius but does not match drawings of B bathieana [one of the current names for B latifolia Schlechter] by Perrier and I have no drawings for B chlorantha [the other current name for B latifolia A Rich.] so I have left it here for more information.
