Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

Found in Yunnan province of China at elevations around 1400 to 1600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with globose pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, circular to ovate, obtuse, gradually to abruptly narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a basal, erect, to 3.2" [8 cm] long, few to several flowered inflorescence

Very similar to B hirudinis and often given as a synonym of but this one differs in the pilose, wider sepals
