Common Name The Sarcophyllum-Like Bulbophyllum

Flower Size .25" [6 to 7 mm]

Found in northeastern India, Bhutan and Sikkim at elevations around 300 to 500 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with 1.6 to 2.8" [4 to 7 cm] between each, small discoid pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, ovate, acute dorsally keeled leaf and blooms in the spring on a basal, 2" [5 cm] long, erect, few [5 to 6] flowered inflorescence with 2 basal, tubular-lanceolate, imbricate, wide open sheaths sholding the flowers in an apical cluster with lanceolate, acute, dorsally keeled floral bracts.
