Common Name The Subumbellate Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in Pennisular Malaysia and Borneo in lowland swamp forests on tree trunks and branches at elevations of sea-level to 250 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 2 to 5" between each narrowly cylindric pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, acute leaf that blooms on an slender, 4" [10 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers that do not open well.

Similar to B cuspidipetalum but this one differs in the longer than wide overall look and the threadlike apical tails of the petals in this one and the thick tailed apex of B cuspidipetalum.
