Common Name or Meaning The Huebneri-Like Campylocentrum [refers to its similarity to C huebneri]

Found in the department of Junin of Peru within wet montane forests at elevations around 1600 to 2700 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying distichous, obliquely ovate, emarginate, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the fall on axillary, shortly pedunculate, racemose, 1" [2.5 cm] long overall, several flowered inflorescence with minute, ovate, obtuse floral bracts.

Differs from C huebneri in the pale orange flowers and the narrow, tapered spur that is up to .4" [1 cml long. C huebneri has a spur that is up to .84" [2.1 cm] long.
