Common Name or Meaning Adalaide's Capanemia

Flower Size .3" [.7 cm]

Found in Sao Paulo State Brazil in the moist coastal mountains at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with small, ovate, slightly compressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 to 4, membraneous sheaths and carry a single, apical, small, flattened, fleshy-leathery, ovate to lanceolate, channeled above, keeled below, acute, narrowing below into the conduplicate, short, narrow, petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, pendulous, .8" [2 cm] long, threadlike, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence arising from the basal sheath axil.

CAUTION Some sources put this species as a synonym of C micromera but if the photos that I have are correct then they are quite different. I await better references.
